Disclosure Week: Protecting Clients and Customers

This week, I will review several of the mandatory disclosures for residential sales transactions in the state of North Carolina. These forms are mandatory in an attempt to protect the customers and clients in real estate transactions. While they may sometimes seem like extra paperwork, they are meant to protect you. Some of the disclosures we will review are the ‘Working with Real Estate Agents Disclosure’, Residential Property and Owners' Association Disclosure, and Mineral and Oil and Gas Rights Mandatory Disclosure Statement.
